"Wu Xing is focused on regulating the five primary energies of the body based on Chinese medical thought: the Kidneys, the Liver, the Heart, the Spleen and the Lungs. As the energetic strength of these organ systems is improved, it helps to regulate the quality of the body’s Qi as well as assisting the body in production of Qi as its efficiency goes up."
— Damo Mitchell, A Comprehensive Guide to Daoist Nei Gong
Date: April 18th - 19th 2026
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Price: 150 Euros
The material taught during the course will feature a combination of practices designed to help open the body, build qi, and regulate qi through the Wu Xing exercises. All material is based on the practices taught through the Lotus Nei Gong International School (https://www.lotusneigong.com) and Internal Arts Academy (https://damomitchell.com/). The practices will be a combination of seated and standing work.
This workshop is suitable for both beginner and more advanced students looking for a deeper understanding of the arts, and seeking to use Qi Gong and Nei Gong as a system of cultivation. Five element practices are essential for refining the physical and energetic aspects of the body and help to create balance in our lives. We look forward to training with those both familiar with and new to the arts.
Kulsoom and Avinash began their training with Lotus Nei Gong in 2013. They completed the 2.5 year Qigong Teacher training course in 2017 and have continued their studies with Damo Mitchell and Paul Mitchell in the U.S., Europe, and the U.K. The couple’s personal studies include Nei Gong, Yang style Taiji Quan, martial arts, and seated practices.
Kulsoom has a Doctorate in Classical Chinese Medicine, and has practiced in the field for 9 years. Avinash has immersed himself in the internal arts, trains hard, and has a good sense of humor (sometimes).
